Moving

Hi, i didn't realise it'd been so long since i posted - i ended up giving up on the whole buying a unit thing after being fucked over by my parents (i'm not even going to get into that story - not for now at least) but after a long and difficult process i have finally found a new place to live. So no more being fucked around by Strictly-Rentals after a few weeks. I am moving into the new place with Tim (my boyfriend) as Steff just can't afford it anymore so she's moving back in with her mother - the rent in Canberra seems to have a gone up again - unless you have a job you really just can't afford to live. The place we got is a nice little 3bdr townhouse in Conder. Only downside is it's so far southside but it's not too difficult to get to work from there (basically turn onto Tharwa - continue onto Monaro and then down pialigo (sp?) and i'm at work. ) We move in on the 15th so atm i've just been organising everything and making sure it will run smoothly. I've got 6 days off after this week so working mon & tues, wed - fri to pack, sat to move everything, sun-tues to clean, wednesday to sleep/relax and thursday and friday i'm back to work. Thou i think i am more excited about getting the time off than to be moving - yay no work!. I really need to find a new job. I'm sick of working somewere i get no appreciation for what extra i do, yet if they ask something i have to give it to them. Respect should go both ways but apparently not at Volante. I am still waiting to hear back about on-site (2.5 months later), every week almost i get told that they're busy and will call me later to talk about it - even thou they're apparently they're trying to find staff. If you're so understaffed, put me on-site? Is it that hard?.. I actually went on-site for a work experience type thing on friday - it was alright. Well i guess that's all that's really happening with me atm, now i've found a house i can go back to looking for a new job. Back to life....
