New job time
Hi everyone,
Guess its about time i make a post its been forever. So it seems its time for me to look for a new job again. FaHCSIA seem to be screwing me over. All was going well. I was happy as a Getronics employee supporting FaHCSIA but then they decided to take the server team inhouse, so i had to take a 12k paycut to keep my job. It was just me and one other person that stayed from Getronics so we spent the last 8 or so months training all the new staff members. Now FaHCSIA have decided to restructure the branch, as i am an APS5 not an EL1 they have placed me an a newly created 'level 2' team rather than the 'Level 3/Server team' i was in. This basically means all i do all day is meanial administration boring tasks. They have also taken away my flexibility required due to having IH which was agreed to when accepting the position. They are also implementing silly rules that restrict me from being able to do my job like I'm not allowed to talk to anyone in desktop or the service desk because i spend too long every day answering questions when i should be doing queue work. WTF part of my job is answering questions, basically i have a new team leader who doesn't realise what my job is. The whole thing is really stupid so i'm looking for a new job. If anyone knows anyone who wants a dedicated Server Engineer in Canberra let me know?
Other than that my IH stuff seems to be going pretty well. Had some issues 6 months or so ago were my old medicine stopped working. Docs fixed me up and i'm now on new medicine which seems to be going well. Only thing is it means i don't eat much and it seem to be loosing heaps of weight so i just have to make sure i eat enough and don't loose too much. But that's ok, better than being sick and having headaches all the time! :P
Going down to Melbourne next week to catch up with Loz & Rhiannon, also to goto Soundwave! Should be awesome! So many bands i wana see i can't believe it!!! Hopefully i have time to get some shopping done as well! None of my clothes fit anymore it's annoying!! :D
